What Makes a Good Bespoke Project

We can't build everything. Here's what we look for:

  • Real business potential: It has to be a legitimate business idea with a path to profitability. We don't do hobbies dressed up as startups.
  • Entrepreneur commitment: You're serious about this. It's not a "maybe someday" idea — you're ready to put in the work.
  • Our expertise applies: We're good at business infrastructure, systems, and operations. If your idea needs something completely outside our capabilities, we'll tell you.
  • Legal and ethical: It goes without saying, but we say it anyway. The business has to be legitimate.

We turn down projects. Not because we don't believe in entrepreneurs, but because we only take on things we genuinely think can succeed.

Bespoke Lab projects typically range from $50,000–$200,000+.

There's no standard price because there's no standard project. Simple operations with existing models cost less. Complex businesses with significant infrastructure, licensing, or supply chain needs cost more. We'll scope it honestly after we understand what you're building.

If it doesn't fit any of those categories, or combines multiple categories in unusual ways, Bespoke Lab is probably right. When in doubt, just reach out and we'll help you figure out where it fits.

No. We're a service company, not an investment firm. You pay us to build your business infrastructure, and you own 100% of everything we create. We don't take equity, royalties, or ongoing cuts. If you want investors, we can help connect you — but that's separate from what we do.

We build businesses, we don't run them. Our goal is to create infrastructure you can operate yourself or hire people to operate. We include knowledge transfer and documentation so you understand how everything works. If you need ongoing operational support, we can sometimes recommend partners — but that's not our core offering.

That's often the case — which is why it's "bespoke." We haven't built every type of business, but we have built many different types and understand business infrastructure fundamentals. If your idea requires deep expertise in a specific industry we don't know, we'll tell you. If it requires the kind of general business building we do well, we'll figure it out.

It varies wildly based on complexity. A simple e-commerce brand launch might take 3–4 months. A government contracting operation with certifications could take 6–12 months. A complex multi-entity real estate framework might be longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline after scoping.
